The 2019 Advanced Typography class and Type Brigade is proud to present the Pop-Up Type Museum: Type...Revealed! Come for a night of thrilling, riveting, and electrifying typography. Opening reception is at 6:30PM, followed by a round of lightning talks by the students themselves.
The exhibition will be at Emily Carr University from December 10–13, but you’ll want to be there opening night for Type Brigade on December 10 at 6:30PM.

Peter Cocking – Introducing the The Pop-Up Type Museum
Peter Cocking is one of Canada’s most celebrated book designers. He’s spoken on typography and design across the US & Canada, from Pecha Kucha Vancouver to the Type Directors Club in New York. Our first talk of the evening will see him introduce the typographic thinking behind the exhibition.

The designers exhibiting in The Pop-Up Type Museum will each give a concise talk about their typographic work. You’ll be able to tour the exhibition before and after the talks.
