Watch on YouTube or join the public Minecraft server to participate in competitions and win prizes. You'll need a Mincraft game to participate in competitions.
As we are in the middle of a pandemic - we decided to host a fully online meetup. Mojang is sponsoring this event and they are willing to give away 100 free 1 month realms subscriptions. Realms are Mojang-hosted Minecraft servers where you can have adventures with your friends. (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/realms-for-java/). You need to have Minecraft: Java Edition to use the subscription.
Here is the plan - we'll gather on a Minecraft server where we'll safely mingle. There we'll have a bunch of in-game competitions where you can win books from https://newline.co. They have books about Rust, NodeJS, React and other technical topics.
The whole event will be streamed on YouTube.

# The Talks
## "Advanced React Component Patterns in Plain, Approaching Language." by Ohans Emmanuel
Component patterns have been around for a while, but in this
talk, I'll explain the ins and outs of each pattern in relatable language.
To do this, I'll employ graphical illustrations and everyday analogies
that'll help you intuitively understand these patterns.
The talk will then come full circle as I point you real-world examples of
these patterns in use!
## "Making a Custom React Renderer" by Paulo Ragonha
At Mojang we are currently building a new UI system using React, and as part of its development we had to create a custom React Renderer. Join me in this talk where I go explain how we did it and how you can also create your own custom renderers
