A long table set up at Oak Hill Social with vintage manual typewriters for you to use.

Sit down, type something, take your pages with you.

It's Father's Day, so bring Dad! Or if you want to type something to send Dad, there's stationery and blank postcards on hand.

Write a note, a memory, or a postcard you can mail or hand him in person. That'll outlast a gift card.

It happens to be Father's Day, but there's no need to make it all about dad! Come work on your draft, type a poem, make a zine, or just see what comes out when you sit at a machine from the 1950s.

No experience needed. The typewriters do all the hard work. Short prompts available if you want one. Stay for twenty minutes or stay for the whole two hours.

Free. Walk-ups welcome, but RSVP to make sure you have a seat. Food and drinks available at Oak Hill Social.

Hosted by Austin author Stephen Lloyd Webber.

Follow the calendar at lu.ma/typewriter for more upcoming events.
