What we’re about
This meetup is for all those people who would like to experience camping trips in UAE.
We will try and ensure that all vehicles can reach our camping spots (dedicated trips for 4x4 will be mentioned clearly)
Trips will be organized a minimum of once a month during winter (summer trips to locations outside UAE can be discussed)
RSVP should only be made if you are sure of the trip as we will limit the number of participants. If you wish to cancel you RSVP please do so at earliest to give others a chance to enjoy the trip.
We are not a professional body organizing trips. Everyone will be expected to contribute to events with firewood/charcoal or other items to be mentioned during each trip.

Season Opening Camp
To be Confirmed, Dubai, AEUAE Camping Club and SPx Outdoors brings you our season opening camp.
Location: Dubai (30mins drive from city) – Meeting point will be shared on the whatsapp group
Access: Sedan Friendly
Charges: None - Bring your own everything- see below for basic list1 bundle of firewood per car towards the common fire.

** The organizers cannot guarantee a car ride for everyone looking for a ride. Passengers can try and contact the drivers directly for slots. We will try and accommodate as many people as we can.Things to bring
- Chairs, mats
- Tents, sleeping bags
- Grill and charcoal (We will have a few grills to share, but extras always help)
- Food (BBQ items, veggies, snacks as preferred)
- Beverages (BYOB)
- Warm clothes (It can get chilly late at night)
It will be a potluck style so please bring your own food to grill and a little extra to share.
** Please note that we welcome pets however please ensure your pets are trained and friendly, if not please ensure they are leashed
Important Notes:
- We will leave the meetup point at 4pm exact to ensure we get a good camping spot. There will be no waiting for latecomers.
- All cars can reach the camping spot. (Sports/low floor cars may find it hard to drive across the dirt track and few sandy bits)
- All drivers are expected to share rides if you have space as a courtesy to the group.
- Please fill out the attached carpool sheet with your details.
- There will be no littering permitted - anyone found littering will be removed from the group
