Ubuntu is a South African philosophy linked to loyalty and solidarity. The term comes from the Zulu and Xhosa languages and can be translated as ‘humanity towards others’ or ‘I am because we are’.
The concept is based on the belief that a universal human bond makes human beings capable because they are connected.

TECH NETWORKING: AI - How AI Is Reshaping Learning & Development
BEACH HOUSE · Coworking, Calle Churruca, 8, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, ESJoin us to understand the cutting-edge developments shaping the next era of artificial intelligence.
Topic: For an industry completely focused on humans, Learning & Development has always been an early adopter of technology. From interactive slide decks to Learning Experience Platforms and digital coaches, there seems to be no end to what technology can bring to human development.
Now, AI is accelerating that change dramatically.
In this talk, Jan will bring you up to speed on the latest developments in AI and L&D: what is already possible, what is coming next, and what it means for the way we design, deliver, and think about learning.
Speaker: Jan C. Kouwenhoven
About the speaker: With the genes of a teacher and the background of a software engineer, Jan brings together classical thinking about learning with a deep understanding of modern technology.
Convinced that humans are still the best teachers, Jan runs his e-learning agency with one goal: using technology to close the gap between digital learning and great human teaching.
Jan leads an AI in L&D community in the Netherlands with more than 500 members and supports various multinationals in reshaping their L&D portfolios for the age of AI.We will have time to exchange ideas and network after our speaker presentation, with light refreshments and drinks.
