Meet Up in October
Hi Everyone In October we have WARREN ASTON as our speaker. Warren Aston is a New Zealand born Aussie explorer, researcher and author currently based in Brisbane, Australia. With interests including archaeology, UFOs, world religions, crypto-zoology and photography he travels widely. Warren has lectured on his findings to academic audiences at universities and in the US, UK and Australia and also at many UFO conferences. He will be presenting on the subject of GEORGE ADAMSKI and the early contactees, based on his experience of the last several years, editing the writings of French researcher and author, Michel Zirger. Zirger, who now lives in Japan, has published 3 books that present a wealth of new, never-before published information about George Hunt Williamson and George Adamski. In particular, the most recent book, 'Authenticating the George Adamski Case' shows how computer enhancement of the original photos taken at the Desert Center in November, 1952, not only shows the mother-ship hovering above the site, as reported by the six witnesses, but also the small bell-shaped craft descending and later the man calling himself 'Orthon' walking toward Adamski. These revelations force us to re-evaluate the Adamski claims. Warren is having several copies of the new book shipped to Australia. It is in full colour and includes these historical images. They will be on sale during the break for the special price of $39 each. Adamski was one of the very first to speak publicly about his encounters - a very brave move in the late 40's. Be very interesting to get new information on this historical and iconic case. Looking forward to it and seeing you all and please join us for a drink after the meeting. Admission: $20 annual members $25 non members Cheers Maree
