Biography: Aileen is a product designer from New York studying interaction design at BTK Berlin. She’s currently a visual + interaction design intern at Edenspiekermann. "The Lazy Designer’s Guide to create animated assets" by Philip Mattha.
Abstract: Selective use of motion in user interfaces empowers hierarchy by focusing the users eye to certain areas. Furthermore a sense of time and story can be expressed through movement or animations. In this practical talk you can learn about different techniques creating motion pictures for mobile, native and web. Covering PNG-sequences and more sophisticated technologies gives you an overview of the different methods available. At the end you should be able to choose the right method for your case and create brilliant yet small assets.
Biography: Born in Berlin he studied and worked in Industrial Design in Vienna. In 2016 he moved back to Berlin and joined N26 to learn a new perspective on crafting products. His creations are characterised by technical precision and intended randomness.
