Summary:
From Ansible to Chef through to ARM Templates and Chef, there are loads of tools out there in the infrastructure as code space at the moment and it’s sometimes a little hard to work out what works best in your scenario. Infrastructure as code is not difficult – it’s perhaps more difficult to work out which tool to use.

Terraform is a great tool which is very flexible and works in many scenarios. It’s easy and quick to learn.

Come along to learn more about getting started with automating Azure infrastructure deployment using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.

About the Speaker:
Mark Gossa is a lead DevOps engineer at Vanquis Bank and really enjoys keeping up to date with new tech - especially anything related to code and trying to automate anything he sees using PowerShell, C# .NET, Terraform, Ansible but also anything that improves time to delivery (Serverless, DevOps and Agile).

His focus is currently DevOps in the Azure space but has an IT consultancy background working with a wide range of customers from small charities through to large enterprises in the finance sector.

He enjoys blogging, speaking at tech events, holding training sessions and spends a lot of time on Twitter, attending other meetups and just generally likes to get involved.
