Session Abstract:
You probably know about Azure Devops but did you hear about OCI Devops ? Right this service is full-fledged Native CI/CD platform made "IN" and "FOR" OCI , your CI/CD pipelines will live right next to your CLoud resources leveraging all security features built in OCI .
In this session we will explore OCI Devops main features and what makes it a solution of choice to Automate builds and deployments for speed and reliability.
- Then we will list necessary step to create a project and link it to a code repository such as GitHub, GitLab.
- Explain core OCI devops concepts like Devops artifacts and service-managed build runner that allow to build pipelines.
- Finally, we will perform a demo based on a terraform configuration (n-tier compute) stored in github which will be linked and pipelined into OCI using OCI Devops and explore its metrics.
Speaker Bio: Kosseila is a tech enthusiast and solutions architect at CloudThrill as well as an Oracle ACE with more than 17 years of IT experience. His technical background spans telco, healthcare, and banking industries, and he specializes in cloud/DevOps with certifications across CNCF, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, along with Hashicorp. He is also an avid blogger and podcast host who’s passionate about automation and multicloud platforms and Local AI Ops.
Curious by nature and eager to explore new techniques, he is also involved in the community as Co-President of "Toronto Oracle User Group" , TAICO "Toronto AI & Cyber Security Organization" and through open source contributions.
