- Do you want to network with local and international tech professionals in a fun, relaxed environment? ✅
Then join us on December 6, for our last meetup of the year.
Agenda:
- 18:30 - 19:00 Welcome: Networking & snacks
- 19:00 - 19:10 Kickoff (Welcome from Aiven)
- 19:10 - 19:40 Analytics on your laptop with ClickHouse Local - Mark Needham, Product Marketing Engineer, ClickHouse
- Abstract: Although ClickHouse is usually used for large-scale data analytics with lots of concurrent users, we can also use it to run analytics from our laptop with ClickHouse local. In this talk I'll give an introduction to ClickHouse and its use cases, before showing how to analyse data both on my machine and from the internet if the WiFi treats us well!
- 19:40 - 20:10 Anomaly Detection in Time Series Data Pipelines with Quix Streams, InfluxDB and Kafka - Tun Shwe, VP of Data | DevRel at Quix
- Abstract: Let’s explore a use case to cover the methodology for crafting a scalable data pipeline with anomaly detection. We’ll collect high throughput time series data into Kafka (streaming transport) and process it using Quix Streams (cloud native open source Python stream processing library), store/analyse it in InfluxDB (time series database) and enable anomaly detection using Hugging Face.
- 20:10 - 21:30 Food & networking
Please note that this is an alcohol-free event. Light bites will be provided.
