NEW FOR 2026 - A C-PTSD Companion Guide - Weekly Workshops for Coping with Common Stressors Linked to Trauma

SONA is proud to introduce weekly workshops dedicated to healing and coping with common stresses due to life's curveballs. These one hour workshops are designed to help survivors manage some of the crazy making thought patterns and behaviors that come from having C-PTSD.

Every Sunday at 4 pm EST, we will meet to tackle heavy topics in trauma healing including constant self-comparisons, dealing with antagonistic people, not taking everything personally, toxic friendships, sensory overwhelm, fear of making decisions, complex grief, asking for help and dealing with rejection.

CLASS ONE: HOW TO STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS

Those who grew up in hypercritical families often were compared by unhealthy narcissistic parents to their siblings, classmates and even the parent themselves. Comparison like this often leads to a lifetime of feeling like you have come up short in the game of life. Tonight we'll discuss why this occurs, why it is harmful to personal growth, how to make comparison constructive and how to stop resentful comparison.

All courses, including this one, will come with a companion power point for reference and revision.

Classes will be drop in and $15 per session. You can attend one, all or just those that interest you. Yearly passholders will get unlimited access to these sessions - if you are a 2026 yearly passholder simply comment in the section below that you wish to RSVP. If you are interested in buying a yearly pass, you can purchase one here until 1/31/2026: https://www.meetup.com/pittsburgh-narcissism-survivor-meetup-group/events/311732289/?eventOrigin=group_calendar

ABOUT YOUR WORKSHOP ORGANIZER: Kerrin has been teaching workshops through SONA since 2021 dealing with topics ranging from Codependency, Narcissistic Abuse Recovery, CPTSD and Trauma Healing. She is an attorney who began her career as a Public Defender where her duties in mental health court included representing indigent clients facing involuntary commitment proceedings and cases where a person's liberty was at stake, ensuring their constitutional rights were protected. She founded SONA in 2021 as a response to dealing with a malignant narcissistic mother and a relationship with a likely sociopath. She has been struggling with C-PTSD and it's symptoms for as long as she can remember and became frustrated with the lack of clear direction for dealing with complex trauma symptoms. In answer to that, she became committed to trauma healing courses that use proven somatic and therapeutic methods for handling the symptoms of C-PTSD based upon Dr. Judith Herman's three step trauma healing methods detailed in the book Trauma and Recovery.

You do not have to be an established member to attend these meetings.
