Cambridge Long Exposure & Wire Wool Photowalk – Friendly Evening Meet-Up
Details
Come and join me on Tuesday 25th at 6pm for a friendly evening photowalk in Cambridge. We’ll be focusing on long-exposure photography, from light trails to slow-shutter creative shots, and we’ll finish with a controlled wire-wool spin for anyone who wants to capture something bold and atmospheric.
This is a relaxed, social event — no pressure, no “right way” to shoot, and absolutely no experience required. If you enjoy taking photos and meeting new people, you’ll fit in perfectly. I’ll be around the whole time to help with settings, ideas, and tips so you walk away with images you’re proud of.
What we’ll do:
• Easy group walk through a few great night-photography spots
• Learn long-exposure settings and how to balance shutter, aperture, and ISO
• Play with reflections, light trails, static subjects and moving subjects
• Finish with a safe wire-wool session for some really striking shots
What to bring:
• Any camera (mirrorless, DSLR, compact or even a phone)
• Tripod sayou will need one
• Warm clothes — we’ll be outside most of the time
• Optional: remote shutter release
Cost:
This event is donation-based only. Donations simply help cover materials and future workshop bits, but you’re under no obligation at all to pay anything. Just turn up, enjoy the evening, and make some new friends.
