## Songs of America OPEN MIC & Group Jam

Well... this one came together a little faster than we expected! 😄
We're putting together a last-minute summer jam, and we'd love to see you there! Join us for an afternoon of great music, good food, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere at Sonny Bryan's Smokehouse in Richardson.
This month's optional theme is Songs of America. Think of the music that tells America's story:
🇺🇸 Patriotic songs
🚂 Railroad songs
🌾 Folk & Americana
✊ Classic protest songs
🏕️ Campfire favorites
🎶 ...or simply bring a favorite song you'd like to share!
This will be an OPEN MIC & GROUP JAM event.
If you're planning to perform, please send Mark your chord charts as soon as possible! Our goal is to let everyone in the room play along with every performance whenever possible. Don't have a chart? That's OK—just let Mark know! Sending your song choice ahead of time also helps us avoid duplicate performances.
We'll alternate Open Mic performances with Group Jam songs, so everyone gets plenty of opportunities to play.
