Friday Meetup at Ainslie Arts Centre with Songbook 2

We will be using Songbook 2. Copies will be available to borrow or purchase at the event.

We will meet in Room 1.

7.00pm to 9.00pm Friday 30 January 2026

Format:
We use the kanakapila format, where everyone takes a turn to choose a song from the Songbook with the whole group playing and singing along. You can choose to perform your chosen song or you can bring a new song with around 20 copies to share. You can also pass your turn.
When it is your turn, we encourage you to lead the song using the mic and sound equipment provided. We encourage everyone to have a go at this, because having the song led at the mic helps to keep the song moving along with the bass and percussion.
Payment:
Please don’t forget to pay $10 for attendance at URoC meetups (which covers venue hire and other costs). Thank you, if you have already paid in advance.
