Additional Ultimate Pickup Games (North, South, and West!)

Hey Everyone,

First off, a big thanks to everyone who came out for a fantastic Memorial Day cookout / celebration. We had something like 35ish people show up (unusually low turnout for our cookouts). Vince, Eric, and Peter worked the grills. John & Jennifer helped do some shopping. And there were a few people who showed up from Pennsylvania just to play with us for the weekend, which was really cool.

I recently double-checked PickupUltimate to respond to an inquiry about games in the Chicagoland area, and was pleasantly surprised to find a few new ones crop up. To see details for yourself, I advise clicking here - http://pickupultimate.com/map/city/chicago

This site is really handy if you're going to be travelling anywhere for work / vacation / etc (there's a better site for California, but I don't remember it offhand...ask Google).

Anyway, the Wheaton game (SPUN) is officially up-and-running outdoors on Tuesdays and Sundays.

The Evanston group looks like it's been playing again as well.

There's a new game for people in the reasonably-far North (Manoj, David, others, you should look into this), just south of Waukegan. And another even farther, just south of Kenosha.

There are games downtownish in Hyde Park, Lincoln Park, and Logan Square (going by the names on the map).

And if you're even farther south, there's a game to check out in Oak Lawn.

Finally, if you're going to be in Rockford for some reason, there's a game there too (which looks like it goes indoors during the winter).

By all means, come play at our game if you like us a lot and want to throw a disc around, but I get asked quite a bit about other games in the area, so here's everything I know. Beyond this, you'll have to ask Facebook, Google, or other players at other games.

Go play at some field (even if it's not ours),
Caz
