Kingston Peak to Chinns lake

This will be the inaugural ride for the newly formed UDSCO! We will meet in Nederland at The train cars coffee at 9AM. From there we'll venture over to Rollinsville to start the trip up Kingston Peak 4wd Road. After reaching the top, we'll venture down to Chinns reservoir to take a break and have some lunch. The return trip will be a U turn to come back the same way.

This trail is a 4wd road the entire way. There are several steep rocky sections but otherwise the trail is very doable for any dual sport bike. There is an alternate route back to Denver via I-70 from St. Marys but this way home is not ideal. Minimum safety requirements - long pants, boots, gloves, helmets and eye protection (additional protection highly recommended).
