Autumn Contribution Challenge Hackathon

Something a little different this month: we’re running a hackathon for the Umbraco Autumn Contribution Challenge 2025. If you’ve ever wanted to contribute to Umbraco, now’s the time. Bring your laptop, bring your ideas, bring your brain—we’ll work together on creating helpful content for the new Umbraco community website.

Whether you're new to contributing or experienced, there will be guidance and support. It’s a chance to see behind the scenes, do something useful, and meet other people in our local community.

Agenda

• 18:30 – Doors open, arrival, mingling, pizza
• 19:00 – Introduction & Overview of the Autumn Contribution Challenge
• 19:10 – Hackathon: Get stuck in with content creation / improvements
• 20:00 – Share what’s been worked on + group discussion
• 20:30 – Wrap-up & Networking

Who Should Attend

• Developers, or Umbraco users who want to help out
• People who have in the past found both problems and solutions while using Umbraco or .Net.
• Those who like collaborating in person and learning by doing

What to Bring

• Laptop
• Any notes or ideas for content (if you’ve got them)

Entry

• Feel free to use the private on-site car park, or park on Armley Road if you prefer.
• Pixel Builders’ office is on the ground floor of Tower Court. If the door is locked, ring the buzzer and someone will let you in
