There's no single route to letting an agent do real work on an Umbraco project. The right path depends on where your tickets live, where your code lives, how your team works, and where you are in your AI journey.

Matthew Wise and Phil Whitaker will walk through the stages of AI adoption, from friendly assistant to automated army, while keeping a human in the loop throughout.

The Talk:
We'll show two versions of the same goal: ticket to pull request while you sleep. One using the fully joined-up GitHub ecosystem (issues to Actions). The other rolling an equivalent across Jira and Azure DevOps, where the tracker, the repo, and the automation trigger live in different places and have to be wired together deliberately. Underneath both, the same techniques do the work.

For true parallel execution, an agent or a developer running several tickets at once without branch-switching, one approach uses Git worktrees today with an eye on moving to cloud workers, the other is already running on cloud workers. Either way, uSync, Umbraco.Deploy, and a disposable SQLite database keep every ticket working in a clean environment, whichever host you're on.

The result is a practical checklist. Whatever your stack looks like, here's what has to be true before you can hand a ticket to an agent and get back a reviewable, Umbraco-aware pull request.
