The Umbraco x Candid Contributions Hacktoberfest Hackathon

To support Umbraco's Hacktoberfest, Candid Contributions and friends are hosting an online hackathon.

We have many things to hack on during this hackathon, traditionally we have a look at the many "up for grabs" issues on the Umbraco CMS repository and we try to fix some of them. This means cloning the Umbraco source code, finding the area we need to look in, making changes and sending a PR.

Additionally, we have new things to play with, Bellissima (also know as "the new backoffice") is coming to Umbraco 14, in June next year) and the work on that is in full swing. Maybe you want to try to create a package for Bellissima, maybe you want to implement a small feature, maybe you would like to contribute to the UI library. Anything goes.
We also encourage you to help out package developers in improving their packages, we'll have a list of participating packages ready for you.

When you sign up you will be asked for your main reason for attending. This is to give us a heads up on what people might be doing. Hopefully we'll be able to put some teams together for some collaboration: we all know the best results come from working together! Or maybe you have no idea what to do, so it would be worth us planning a 'getting started' session. And just to clarify ... "I just want to say hi" is a perfectly valid reason for attending :)

The hackathon will be run over Zoom and you're welcome to come and go as you please. We'll be chatting in Umbraco's Discord server too.
