Note: the time for this meetup group is set to Odense, Denmark. So if you're joining from the UK, it will be 7PM, from NYC: 2PM, and so on.

After the success of various iterations of this event recently in Leeds and Manchester, we have decided to run the same event online!

AI coding assistants are changing how developers work—helping with everything from unfamiliar projects to debugging and performance improvements. In this session, we’ll look at several leading tools.

  • Ali Graham: Explore how GitHub Copilot can help you with projects you don’t know, speed up onboarding, and improve performance, security, and readability. It’s not just about writing code for you.
  • Phil Whittaker: Learn about Claude Code, an agentic, terminal-first coding assistant that brings the power of advanced Claude models directly into your workflow. Whether you’re fixing bugs, generating features from descriptions, or managing complex codebases, it works right where you work—your shell.
  • Ollie Picton: A quick-fire tour of how we use Cursor from Playwright wizardry and Umbraco MCP magic to the rules that keep it all running smoothly (ish)

Why It’s Worth Attending
Discover practical ways to boost productivity, improve code quality, and reduce repetitive work. Network with peers and join discussions about the future of AI-assisted development.

Agenda
After your hosts Ali, Phil, and Ollie will show you how they're using various AI tools, the discussion is open to ask all your questions and share your own experiences.

🔴 This event will be recorded, we'll post a link to the recording here afterwards.
