• "Process Mapping As Code with Mermaid"
  by Richard Jackson
  Umbraco MVP and communication advocate Richard Jackson discusses and demonstrates Mermaid. A Javascript-based diagramming and charting tool, Mermaid allows developers to author their processes as code, which can then be rendered into all manner of charts and visuals.
  This talk serves as an illustration to this code-first approach, how it can be built into standard developer practices and version control, while also discussing the importance of maintainable, sharable business visualisations.

Venue
The meetup will be hosted at Method4 Ltd, Trade Street, Cardiff, CF10 5DT, which is a less than 5-minute walk from Cardiff Central train station.
Parking options

• There is on-street pay & display (free after 6pm) parking at Trade Street, although spaces can be limited during work hours.
• Cardiff Central Train Station car park ~ less than a 2-minute walk.
• John Lewis Car Park ~ 8-minute walk.
• St David's / Dewi Sant car park ~ 12-minute walk.
