umBristol Talks - July 2018

This month's umBristol is to be hosted at Pollen Place, a coworking and events space in Stokes Croft.

Rog How - Polleni Branding Agency
'Designing for a website build' - Rog will be taking us through some of the design process that they undertake at Polleni. He'll be presenting the creation of brand identity, to digital assets and how that ends up with the development team.

Callum Whyte - The Cogworks in London
'Azure Functions' - Callum will share how we can introduce 'serverless' components to our Umbraco sites for handling transactional events or scheduled tasks. He'll show how easy it is to get started using Azure Functions to built a simple "Hello World" app, right up to refactoring parts of an existing Umbraco solution into Azure Functions.
