Hike in Umstead along Odd Fellows Tract border, Stop RDU Quarry

Interested in learning more about the location and amazing value of the Odd Fellows tract and why it is so important to protect Umstead State Park from a proposed new quarry? Want to learn more about the proposed fence that would create a disconnection in this recreational/wildlife corridor? Join us to learn more.

This will be a moderately-paced hike along the border of Umstead State Park and the Odd Fellows Tract. We'll hike to Crabtree Creek and a popular Park trail. Hike will be stay on State Park property....but NOT on a trail...this is through the woods. Since we will be off trail and in the forest, hiking boots and long pants highly recommended.
