Concert & Dinner: Umstead State Park's 92nd Birthday Bash
Details
Umstead has been a Triangle treasure for 92 years. Let’s celebrate! William B. Umstead State Park dates back to 1934. That year the National Park Service began building it to put people to work during the Great Depression and to give the area a forested place to play. Ninety-two years later, we’re marking the occasion with live music and dinner at the historic Sycamore Mess Hall, which the Umstead Coalition is working to restore. Come casual, and wear your best flannel!
