SUMMARY: Maryland Area Combat Robotics (MACRO) is hosting a 3d printed plastic ant weight (1 pound) robot combat test and tune event, where people can test their robots in a safe and controlled environment.
GOAL: To increase participation in robotic combat sports, by lowering the financial barrier to entry. To help participants learn engineering, material science, 3d modeling, 3d printing, remote control systems and good sportsmanship, which all contribute to the enjoyment of robotic combat sports.
THINGS TO BRING: One or more 3d printed combat robots, which adhere to the construction rules laid out at http://macrobot.us/construction-specifications/ .
