Calling all sewists! Let’s get together and create beautiful things!
This event is for sewists of all levels, from people just taking their machine out of the box to advanced makers. It’s a day for us to share our skills, stories, and expertise around sewing while socializing with other sewists.
What to Bring: Whatever you would like! This open sew is a place where you can work on your WIPs or start a new project. Unlike past events, we will not be working on a single activity together.
Do you have a project that is giving you grief and need a fresh set of eyes? Bring it!
Just starting on something and don’t want to procrastinate? Bring it!
Not sure what you’re doing? Not a problem! We have a library of projects you can try out. Just bring some fabric and we will help you to create something wonderful.
Don’t have a sewing machine? We have three machines you can use during the class. Please email [thea@unallocatedspace.org](mailto:thea@unallocatedspace.org) and let us know if you need to use one. Reservations for a sewing machine will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
