EVENT POST PONED
Hey everyone,
A quick update; I’ve come down sick(with a cold) and need to postpone this Friday’s Unbound Socials catch-up.
As much as I was looking forward to it, I want to prioritise everyone’s wellbeing (including my own), and make sure we can all show up feeling good when we do meet.
The event will still be happening, just at a later date (TBA), same location.
Thank you for your patience and care. I’ll update you soon with a new date 💛

Welcome to Unbound Socials!

Unbound Socials is building accessible, queer-centred gatherings here in Perth.
We’re starting with a low-pressure board games meetup designed with accessibility in mind.

If you’re looking for a place to meet people, play a few games, and connect with community — we’d love to have you there.

This relaxed event is created specifically for folks in the LGBTQIA+ and disability communities, and those who want to share space respectfully with us.

No judgement. No pressure. Just a calm space to spend some time together.

What’s the go?
Zero Pressure
This isn’t a networking event or anything formal. Come as you are, grab a cuppa or a drink, and join a game or a conversation if you feel like it.
Accessibility First
We’ve chosen a venue with accessibility in mind and will be using a separate room so we can reduce the main café noise.
Quiet Participation Welcome
You’re welcome to sit, observe, or play quietly. There’s no expectation to socialise more than you want to.
Meet Your Mob
Connect with people who actually get it. Come solo, bring a friend, or bring your partner(s).
A Respectful Space
This is an inclusive event where diverse bodies, identities, and neurotypes are respected.
Environment
To help people plan ahead, here’s what the space will likely be like:
• Warm indoor lighting
• Moderate background café noise (reduced in our room)
• Mostly seated activities (board games and conversation)
• People are welcome to step outside or take breaks at any time
