A Key to Understanding The Scriptures is to Understand that everything we do have rules to govern how we should do it, in English a singular noun takes a plural verb, in Mathematics there are rules on how to solve equations, we can choose to ignore these rules and ultimately get the undesired result, nevertheless, we also have rules in Scripture, these rules are found throughout Scripture but the foundation is found in Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, these 5 Books are called The Torah, Torah means direction or instruction, imagine reading The Bible without direction or instruction, this is what many do, and then when they need instruction or direction they apply their own, this is not good and just like someone ignoring the street signs, they will ultimately be lost.
Another Key to Understanding The Scriptures is to Understand that our obedience as Believers is both Spiritual and Physical, Christianity focuses mostly on the Spiritual and not so much on the Physical, likewise Jewish focuses mostly on the Physical but not so much on the Spiritual, Christ taught both Physical and Spiritual and is nothing new, ................. Eze 44:9 Thus saith the Sovereign YAHUAH, No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.............. we need both or else we will not have enough oil in our Lamps.
