August teaching event at the Rigpa Brisbane Centre | Renowned Buddhist teacher Khenpo Ngawang Dhamchoe
Khenpo Ngawang Dhamchoe will give a teaching on the key principles of the Mahayana path, based on Nagarjuna’s Root Verses of the Middle Way, and the meditation practice of Tara, one of the most revered and widely practised deity in Tibetan Buddhism, and these verses pay homage to the 21 emanations of this female Bodhisattva, each with unique qualities and activities. These praises are used to invoke Tara's blessings for protection, healing, long life, and fulfillment of wishes.
When: Saturday 16 August & Sunday 17 August 2025
Time: Saturday 9.00am to 4.30pm, Sunday 9.00am to 3.30pm
Cost: Full event $140 ($90 Concession), one day $70 ($45 Concession). Free for robed sangha. Morning and afternoon tea provided. We support students who have financial hardship who wish to attend the event, please send us an email or text.
