Undivided for Change

Have you found it more difficult than ever to talk to people who have different beliefs than you? Have you been frustrated with politics lately? Do you feel like we are more divided than ever? Are you wishing you could do something but struggling to think about what to do and how you can make an impact? Are you looking for more community and solidarity?

At Undivided for Change, we strive to be a place where we can discuss local and global problems, build skills to influence change, and connect with our community (even those that might disagree with us).

Some of the things offered in the group:

• A facilitated place place for all to discuss difficult, local, or global issues that are affecting us while supporting each other in taking actions to make change
• Workshops and trainings to learn communication and facilitation skills to assist with the above conversations
• Opportunities to practice conscious leadership skills that can be used in social situations and also at home, work, community, and beyond
• A mindset that while there are many forces in the world seek to divide us, we understand the need to work together to have a significant impact. We practice solidarity to create movements locally and beyond
• Review and discussion of how our local and federal politicians vote and are funded as well as how to contact them and provide feedback on important issues
• A space to support each other during hard times and help each other stay open in the midst of difficulty
• A place where we build and grow community
