What we’re about
Welcome to the AWE Society: A Co-Creative Fellowship of Shamanic Practitioners and Parts Workers
Are you curious about shamanism and parts work? Do you want to join a society of people who are passionate about healing and growth? Do you seek a supportive community where you can explore your inner and outer worlds?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you are invited to join the AWE Society for an evening of A Call for Shamanic Society!
A Call for Shamanic Society is an inclusive, peer-led gathering for individuals who are interested in shamanic practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and related healing modalities. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you will find a welcoming space where you can share, learn, and grow together.
Our host is Mercurio, an experienced facilitator of learning and growth-focused groups. Mercurio is a shamanic practitioner, but not a shaman (a shaman is not to be self-proclaimed, but honored with such a title by the members of the community they serve). Mercurio has no formal training in IFS, but is eager to learn from others.
Our objectives are:
- To engage in discussion, drumming, singing, dancing, parts work, and shamanic journeying
- To explore each other's diverse shamanic experiences, traditions, methods, and IFS wisdom
- To create an open forum for sharing, learning, group practice, and growth
- To foster collective learning and co-creation
This is not a course of instruction, but rather an invitation to be part of a budding society of people who are inspired and invested in developing on their interconnected shamanic paths, with community support.
This group has no religious affiliation, and welcomes people of all backgrounds. We respect the diversity and uniqueness of each person's heritage and path.
