What we’re about

In a rapidly escalating crisis of unemployment, if you are looking for a grassroots forum for unemployed in NSW, there is not much on the internet, and this little attempt didn't seem to work. If you are newly unemployed and would like to be part of a discussion of 'self help' directions, in a world where the government and the NGO carers are being swamped, maybe best to contact me directly on email gja1(at)bigpond.com

(Previous 'description')

More than 250,000 unemployed in NSW, and the 'real' rate may be double that.

Aim: form a steering committee of clever older unemployed people to organize the resources of all unemployed, for the benefit of the unemployed, on a business basis, without interference from the government or the 'nanny' NGO's. A natural business entrepreneurial counterpart to the AUWU (doing good things in their own realm, but not attracting huge numbers of the unemployed)
