Error handling is one of the most important—and overlooked—topics for all programmers, regardless of the language used. This talk will explore a functional approach to error handling, using the type system to help us write pure, logical and safe code. Along the way we'll focus on Haskell and Scala covering functors, monoids, monads, disjunctions, options, either and more.
