About us
All motorcycles and people welcome. We are a group of riders who ride on weekdays (I am retired). Rides are limited to 5 bikes a ride. We do not want to be a big group. We ride almost exclusively on beautiful backroads and avoid congested areas. Most rides start in Scotch Plains or Watchung. We stop every hour to hour and a half for bathrooms and stretch. We use Sena’s but they are not required. The rides go to lunch and occasionally an attraction. I use Scenic navigation and others use Myrouteapp or others. We ride staggered except on tiny roads and go pretty much the speed limit.We are very flexible with the destination. We ride for the enjoyment of the ride, nature, scenery, companionship and fun. We do not speed, show off or ride unsafely. We always wait for someone caught at a light or other issue. We do ride year-round except heat over 85°, snow, rain , ice or salt on the roads. Pittstown Airport Runway Lunch
Poutuga Coffee House parking lot, 60 Stirling Rd, Watchung, NJ, USRide to the Sky Cafe, at a little airport in Pittstown, NJ and have lunch on the airport runway while planes take off and land. The food is excellent here! The ride is very nice. Should be between in the 80's with no rain. Ride is 2 hours and 48 minutes with one rest stop. The way back can be shorter and quicker. We can discuss over lunch. KSU 9:30. We leave from Watchung circle. You must sign up to ride. Most of the route is fairly shady. It is all backroads, no highways. Please read the description of the group. Please check this site before leaving for any changes.
