Erwin Olaf Springveld (2 July 1959 – 20 September 2023), known professionally as Erwin Olaf, was a renowned photographer from Hilversum, Netherlands. Time magazine once praised his unique ability to seamlessly blend commercial, art, and fashion photography.

Olaf made his mark with both his commercial and personal projects. He shot advertising campaigns for major international brands like Levi's, Microsoft, and Nokia. Among his most famous series are "Grief," "Rain," and "Royal Blood." Always one to push boundaries, Olaf's work was often bold and provocative. Ironically, one of his early photos was once expelled from an exhibition for *not* featuring nudity.
