Workshop Classic with Vik
Details
CLASSIC with Vik, a former ballet professional. The last curtain.
Some things never go out of style. Marble. Window light. A dancer who knows what a body can say without a word.
Vik spent her career on the professional ballet stage. She knows line, balance and the exact half-second where a pose turns into a picture. Now she steps in front of your lens for a workshop on the classics.
This is the last workshop with Vik. I'm moving to Europe, and the curtain comes down after this one.
The theme: Classic.
Think painters, not presets. Soft, directional light. Clean lines. Posture with a spine in it. Composition that would have held its own in a gallery a few centuries ago. We'll work in the spirit of the old masters and the classical stage, and make it work in a modern studio.
What you'll learn:
- Shaping classical light with simple tools
- Directing a trained dancer: line, gesture, timing
- Composing frames with weight, balance and restraint
- Finding your own frame, because the pictures should be yours
How it works:
This is a workshop, not a model-sharing session. You'll be here to learn skills, not to collect shots. I keep the group small: maximum 4 photographers, so everyone gets room, guidance and time with Vik.
Level: All levels are welcome, but you should know your camera.
Four seats. One dancer. One last night on this stage.
Book your spot while there's still a seat.
This is a respectful, professional working environment — artistic nude/portrait work, open to photographers of all levels who are comfortable working with a nude model in a studio setting. You must be 18 years or older to participate.
