About us

UniQuest, a division of The Henry Foundation is a non-profit organization. We are dedicated to furthering spiritual development on a nondenominational level. UniQuest was created to provide on-going programs which foster the development and understanding of human potential. The Foundation provides metaphysical resources and teaches basic meditation techniques to all who wish to learn.
The group meets the first and third Monday of every month at Unity Church on 90th Street in Omaha. Each bimonthly meeting has a speaker who presents a topic to the group. The presentation usually lasts for about an hour and is then followed by an energy circle/group meditation. Topics are centered around metaphysics, healing and spirituality (e.g., reiki, breathwork, meditation, yoga, chakras, and many more areas).

ACUPUNCTURE IN MODERN HEALTH with Dr. Phyllis Russo

Dr. Phyllis S. Russo—known to many as The MamaShaman—blends science and spirit to guide deep, lasting healing. A chiropractic physician, licensed acupuncturist, functional medicine practitioner, and certified mental health counselor, she brings a rare integrative lens to the healing arts. Through her wellness brand, Dr. Livewell, she works at the intersection of neuro-endocrine regulation, emotional health, and the body’s innate capacity to heal.

At this meetup, Dr. Russo will be offering a focused talk on acupuncture—exploring how this ancient medical system works, why it remains profoundly relevant today, and how it can be applied to modern health challenges. Depending on the setting, she may also offer a live demonstration to help participants better understand what acupuncture looks and feels like in practice.

Topics will include:
• The foundational theory behind acupuncture, including qi, meridians, and the Five Element system
• How acupuncture protocols are tailored for different conditions such as pain, stress, hormonal imbalance, autoimmune patterns, and emotional regulation
• How acupuncture bridges physical, emotional, and energetic healing—and why integration matters

Her personal healing journey through autoimmune illness, trauma, and spiritual awakening informs both her teaching and clinical approach, bringing depth, clarity, and lived experience to the work.

If time permits, the talk will end with a meditation.
