Hi everyone! It is amazing to see new members joining recently and showing interest in the group.
For our first event, we could try to meet up on Saturday 30th May, at The Spire café (Wesley's) in Poole, from 10:00am. Hopefully the café should still be quiet at this time of day. We could meet for about an hour, or a bit longer if we find we need more time and if you are available to stay a bit longer.

For this first session, we would of course start with some quick introductions then have a chat. Below you can find questions that we could ask each other and reflect on:

What draws you to Unitarian Christianity? How do you define Unitarian Christianity? Are you a convinced Unitarian believer, are you progressing towards the faith or simply curious about it?

What place has faith taken in your life, have you been part of a trinitarian denomination, or a non-trinitarian denomination, or of a different religion?

Do you find that there is much out there (ressources, events, meeting places) for Unitarian Christians? How did you first find out about the existence of Unitarian Christianity?

From your point of view, do you find that people know much about Unitarian Christianity ? Do you find ways to nurture your faith and how? Are you able to share your religion with like-minded people or do you experience your religion on your own?

These are just some ideas to think about for our first meeting, but we can just be spontaneous and see where the conversation goes. Each person is free to share their experience and belief, as much as they are comfortable. Everyone should be respected during the meeting, no matter if we have different points of view and approaches.

Looking forward to meeting you and hearing everyone's stories and thoughts!

Cindy
