Music + Mantra: Heart Centered Kirtan
Details
Music + Mantra, a community event blending contemporary live music with traditional call-and-response mantra singing, will take place on Sunday, March 22 at 3 PM.
The event offers an accessible introduction to kirtan, a musical meditation practice rooted in India’s yoga tradition. Attendees experience relaxation through music and singing. The event is inclusive, with chair and floor seating available, space for movement or dancing, and a scent-free environment.
“Kirtan has a long and beautiful lineage,” said event organizer Sudha Sevin. “Our intention with Music + Mantra is to share this tradition with care—creating a space that feels open, grounded, and welcoming to people from all walks of life.”
