Join us after worship for our monthly (after taking June off) Social Justice Letter Writing gathering. Together, we'll write postcards, letters, and messages to elected officials and decision-makers on issues that matter to our community.

No experience is necessary. Whether you're a seasoned advocate or writing your first postcard, you'll find a welcoming group ready to help you get started.

Supplies, sample messages, issue background, and support will be provided. All you need to bring is your voice and your commitment to helping create a more just and compassionate world.

Letter writing is a simple but powerful way to participate in democracy, stay informed, and take collective action alongside others who care.

Stay after worship, enjoy community, and join us as we practice justice together.

Join us for an afternoon of community, conversation, and connection at Tarp in the Park!

Hosted by UUCiL and Queer Misfits, Tarp in the Park is a casual gathering where people can relax, share stories, meet new friends, and enjoy the simple joy of being together outdoors. Bring a chair, blanket, picnic lunch, snacks, games, or simply yourself.

Whether you're a longtime member, a first-time visitor, LGBTQ+, an ally, a family with kids, or someone looking for welcoming community, you'll find a place here.

There is no program to follow, no agenda to keep, and no expectations beyond showing up as yourself. Come for a little while or stay all afternoon.

As a bonus, September 19 happens to be Talk Like a Pirate Day. Pirate attire, pirate jokes, pirate voices, and general nautical silliness are entirely optional but enthusiastically welcomed.
