Please join us for our next Friday gathering on November 14, 2025, for an evening of warm fellowship and insightful discussion.

We'll start at 7:00 pm with refreshments at the Alexandria Bahá’í Center. The discussion will begin at 7:30 p.m., where we'll be hosting a special discussion with Dr. Sohi Rastegar on "The Golden Rule." We will explore how and why the rule to "do to others as you would have them do to you" serves as a cornerstone across religious traditions. It's a universal principle that touches all our lives, and we look forward to exploring its profound significance together.

Dr. Sohi Rastegar is the Senior Advisor and Director of the Office of Emerging Frontiers and Multidisciplinary Activities at the US National Science Foundation. A distinguished academic and leader, he previously held professorial and administrative roles at institutions like Texas A&M University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Johns Hopkins University, and was an Invited Professor in Switzerland. He is a prolific author and the recipient of multiple high honors, including the National Science Foundation Distinguished Service Award.
His background brings a unique perspective to this exploration of a foundational ethical principle.

Join us! We can't wait to welcome you!
