**DESCRIPTION:**

One of the four pillars of Unity Initiative is to build Beloved Community. In order to do this, we invest our time in connection, intimacy and supportive relationships with others from diverse backgrounds. All are welcome to join us for this UI Fellowship Hike. The only requirement for attendance is a desire to make new friends from diverse backgrounds and to gain awareness of how to interrupt your own internalized racism, or to process how racism affects your life in a community of others who share the goal of contributing to racial justice and equality. This event will be available weekly unless otherwise noted.

**WHAT TO BRING?:**
We do day hikes during the winter months and night hikes in the summer! Always bring plenty of water and snacks like fruit (if desired). Bring a flashlight if this is a night hike.
