Keys to Unity: The Concept of Divinity

How does Unity describe Divinity? Is it captured in the concept of Oneness? Or the Duality of Good and Evil? Or the theological construct of the Trinity? Or more than that? Join us as we investigate the numerous ways of understanding Divinity in light of Unity teaching.

This is event is part of a series of four classes around 4 key areas of Unity. Unity teachings emphasize that God is all-good and ever-present, and that each individual is a divine, inherently good expression of God. Key principles include the creative power of thought to shape experience, the practice of affirmative prayer and meditation to connect with the Divine, and the understanding that salvation is a present experience, achieved by living one's innate divinity. Unity also views the Bible as a source of spiritual truth, interprets Jesus as a master teacher rather than a deity, and embraces universal truths found in other religions.
