What we’re about

Hello:
If you have never been to a Unity service, you are in for a treat. Our members are very welcoming, friendly people who support each other both in and outside of church. Personal growth is important to us, as well as connection. Humor, music and food are all essential parts of our weekly services.
Unity of the Seacoast is a spiritual community based on practical Christianity. We welcome all paths to God. We believe that we are one with God, and God is within us all.
Our Church is part of the movement founded by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore in 1889. Our two most famous members are Maya Angelou and Betty White.

One of the teachings of Unity is "We are co-creators with God, creating our reality with thoughts held in mind. Another Unity principle is "through prayer and meditation, we align our heart and mind with God".

Tom Scheinler is the Unity of the Seacoast Spiritual Leader. Tom is a down-to-earth, practical man who often shares examples of his own struggles and growth. He relates teachings in the bible to current-day affairs.
We all have questions about living our life and its meaning. We all have questions about what we have been taught and believe.
Tom Scheiner's belief is, "I don't want people to believe like me. I want them to believe like them. It is the exchange of understandings that enhances our lives and the world around us."
We have services each Sunday at 10:00 AM and fellowship right after services. We are located at the McConnell Center. Our services are also live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about U.O.T.S. We hope you will consider our church if you are looking for a new church home and welcoming community.
