Affirmative Prayer 101

We all pray in our own way—sometimes with a simple “Help!” or “Thank you!” And while there is no right or wrong way to pray, Affirmative Prayer offers a powerful, intentional approach to aligning with the Divine.

In this 6-week, Tuesday evening course, we will explore the contemporary book Discover Your Divinity: A Modern Guide to Affirmative Prayer by Unity ministers Linda Martella-Whitsett and Deeann Weir Morency.

As one of the authors shares, affirmative prayer is one of the greatest gifts the New Thought movement has given the world.

Together, we’ll focus on the foundational principles and a step-by-step format of Affirmative Prayer, building both understanding and confidence.

Through guided practice and reflection, you will learn to create meaningful, effective prayers rooted in the truth of who you are — whole, worthy, and connected to Spirit.
