Behind the Assets with Jason Booth

Details
Hi BUG! For our April 24th meetup, local legend Jason Booth will be sharing his extensive experience developing premium assets for the Unity Asset Store! Unity will once again be sponsoring pizza so be sure to RSVP!
About the talk:
In this talk Jason will dig into the technical challenges and solutions created for his Asset Store Assets, MicroSplat, MegaSplat, and One Batch, as well as talk a bit about the asset store ecosystem and the challenges it poses for asset developers.
About the speaker:
Jason spent his first decade in the game industry at Turbine, releasing some of the first graphical massively multiplayer games, including Asheron's Call, Asheron's Call 2, and Dungeons & Dragons Online. He has also worked with Harmonix Music Systems on creating the Guitar Hero and Rock Band franchises, and Conduit Labs, which eventually became Zynga Boston, and at Disruptor Beam, building the client team while focusing on graphics programming and general client side architecture. Jason has lectured at a number of universities including Harvard, MIT, Becker, University of Copenhagen, and the Berklee College of Music, as well as spoken at GDC and other industry conferences many times, and currently has 16 assets on the Unity Asset Store.

Our venue:
CIC Cambridge is located at 1 Broadway in Cambridge, just outside the Kendall Square Red Line T stop. Whenever possible, public transportation is recommended but for those who choose to drive, parking is available underneath the building on the Third Street side. Visitor parking is also available at the Kendall St garage and at the Marriott Hotel garage, and there's limited street parking as well. When checking in at the ground floor security desk of CIC Cambridge, please be sure to bring along a government-issued ID. Due to a construction project, please excuse the in-progress look of the lobby and allow yourself a few extra minutes for passage up to the 5th floor.
