Josh Hirshfield is a game designer and developer based in Brooklyn, focusing on Combat Design and Educational Games. His background is broad, from AAA to releasing independent games at Pyrebug Studios. With his recent graduation as an MFA in games, he's excited to join the games community here in NYC. How do games make learning fun?

We always learn while playing games, but how do they teach us extremely advanced concepts through play? In this talk, we'll explore how the DOOM games achieve this and how you can apply this to your own games.

We will have a Virtual Reality immersive theater concept (you will see when you attend). If you have something you would like to demo please email Paul at editor330 at gmail
