Check out this event happening in LA — the LA Gamelan Festival 2025!

It’s a free, 2-day celebration of Indonesian music, food, dance and fashion on June 14 & 15, honoring 50 years of teaching by Burat Wangi founders Bapak I Nyoman Wenten and Ibu Nanik Wenten.

You’ll catch performances from groups like Gamelan Burat Wangi, Ghostmist, Wayang Kulit (Shadow Puppet) Show and many more — with a mix of traditional sounds and modern fusions.

It is quite a rare opportunity to experience Indonesian culture in Los Angeles. Come by if you're free!
