We will have readings from the Christmas Story accompanied by accomplished musician Christine Mariani lovingly leading us in song to compliment this meaningful story. This beautiful service will light up your holiday season!

Join us on Sunday, December 28th at 10:30 am for a powerful "New Year's Burning Bowl" service with Rev. Barbara Williams. Christine Mariani Music's heart-opening songs will be accompanying this transformational service.

As we prepare for a new year, we begin with release – letting go of those things, situations or persons that are no longer part of the divine plan for our lives so that we make space for new good. We then consciously and intentionally put out to the future a vision of how we would love to see this year unfold…how we want to feel towards life …how we want to move forward …how we want to be in life. Join us for this sacred process of creating the life of your dreams.

About Rev. Barbara Williams:
Rev. Barbara Williams has coordinated Unity’s summer program at Chautauqua Institution since 2018. She retired as the senior minister of Unity of Port Richey, Florida in 2016. She also served as Director of Adult Education and Director of Youth and Family Ministry for First Unity Church in St. Petersburg, Florida. Prior to her ministry career, Barbara spent twenty-one years in the corporate world where she held positions of leadership in the Information Technology department of Duke Power.
Barbara has presented classes and workshops on Bible history and interpretation, compassionate communication and conflict resolution skills, self-discovery, world religions and parenting skills. Her passion is to support and empower others as they uncover their divine essence. Barbara is a majorette in the Second Time Arounders adult marching band, performing locally as well as in the Macy's Thanksgiving parade and St. Patrick's Day parade in Ireland. She lives in Clearwater with her husband Dusty and their rescue puppy Sandra Dee.

Join us for a light-hearted volunteer opportunity Wednesday, December 31st at 9:30 am at Unity of Port Richey. We have partnered with Pasco Pack-A-Sack 4 kids as part of our community giving to help feed the hungry. This program helps local students in our community have greater food security. Many hands make light work, and it feels so good to offer your time in service of others. See you at Unity of Port Richey!

Join us on New Year's Eve, December 31st at 7 pm for a combination of conscious goal setting, kirtan, prasad and fellowship to ring in the new year! For this special event a $10 love offering is requested at the door.

Let your voice carry you into deep meditation and devotion. Kirtan is the ancient practice of call-and-response chanting that creates an opening between the human and the divine. If you've struggled with traditional seated meditation because your mind or body feels too restless, kirtan offers an active path - giving your energy somewhere to flow through sound and rhythm.

During our practice, we'll chant Sanskrit mantras that invoke and work with different divine energies, allowing your busy mind to settle into rhythm, melody, and spiritual presence. Some chants are voice alone, others pulse with drums, and some flow with the rich, meditative drone of the shruti box. Through repetition and shared group energy, we create a container for deep spiritual work and connection with the sacred.

This is a contemplative, meditative kirtan - a space for sincere spiritual seekers. Whether you've never chanted before or you're a seasoned practitioner, come with an open heart and reverence for the practice. Song sheets provided. This event is by donation. We'll close by sharing prasad (a sweet sacrament) together in community.
