"Give 'Em Some Love" Tour! Easy Rides Day - Universal/IOA Sunday, Feb. 22, 2025

All attendees must be at least 18 years old to join this adult event, preferred 21 and older because of possible alcohol consumption.

It’s time to give some of the easy rides some love! This event is for those classic "easy ride" attractions at Universal and IOA.

RSVP to visit blockbuster hits such as Transformers, The Simpsons Ride, Kong, Spider-Man, E.T., Jimmy Fallon, the Bourne Stuntacular, and more!

It's an easy day, so we will be meeting in front of the Starbucks in City Walk at 11:00 am to let everyone get a little extra sleep! We’ll leave at 11:15 am to walk over to Universal Studios.

According to the website, as I write this, Universal Studios will close at 9pm and IOA will close at 8:00pm on February 22. The scheduled event will officially end at 5:00 pm, but as always, feel free to leave the group early or close down the park with the die-hards. This event takes place during the Mardi Gras festivities, so the parade will be making its way through Universal Studios that night.

We will break for a mid-event snack at 2:00 pm at the Simpsons Food Court at Universal Studios, so anyone who wants to get even more sleep Sunday morning can join us there as well. Just give us a heads-up so we know we'll meet up with you there.

This is a social group, and I encourage everyone to talk and make everyone feel comfortable and included in the conversation. Be open to talking games where we will switch talking partners and topics while waiting in line.

Please leave plenty of time to get to the meeting location, it may take 15 - 30 minutes from parking to arriving at the location.

You must have your own annual pass. Watch out for blackout dates if you have a Power or Seasonal Pass!

The intention of this group is to form friendships with like-minded people who enjoy being social and engaging, and who have annual passes.

You can separate from the group at any time, but keep in mind it may be hard to "jump back in" since messaging can be difficult with a lot of people. You can ask where we are on the chat on Meetup, however, it may take a while for someone to respond.

We will be waiting in the regular lines, and the wait times may be long. This time is great for talking, meeting new people, playing games, and sometimes this is the best part of the experience! So please don't be discouraged by long wait times.

I will be as accommodating as possible, but just note that we might not be able to make it on the "one ride" you want. This group is more about experiencing fun times with fun people than it is about riding specific rides.

I will keep this a free group, however, if you enjoyed your time, donations will be accepted only to cover the recurring maintenance costs of this group.

I help run other Meetup groups and am familiar with hosting events. Any unwanted or uncomfortable behavior will be noted and/or challenged and you may be asked to leave the group or may not be welcomed back. Anyone asked to leave will be banned from future meetups with our group.
